My Role: ExpressionEngine, Development
With the new The Presidents of the United States of America site the band needed to be able to keep their site up to date even while on the road. Using ExpressionEngine to dynamically create XML templates that integrate into the flash design gave them the power to update all the content within a fluid flash site.
Each band member has access to their own login for posting to the blog and they even have the ability to moblog by sending an email to the site. Using EE‘s photo gallery capabilities, I setup multiple photo galleries throughout the site that integrate seamlessly with the flash container and allow batch uploading for an easy way to add many photos at once to the database.
Developing this site was a lot of fun and I’m proud to have worked on it and to support a great local Seattle band.
